A Warm Welcome To Our New Students!

Arnav Aggrawal, DP1

“Honestly, I was an introverted person but EIS helped me boost my confidence and gave me the motivation to upskill myself with the advanced courses that the  IBDP offers. The teaching faculty and super-classmates helped me adapt to these new learning methods. Their study management is just awesome and apart from the studies, Edubridge also helped me improve my profile and helped me to develop a more holistic one with career sessions, MUN, and other events. At this age, it is very hard to make new friends and feel comfortable with them, but the school friends I have found here are true gems who help me understand this curriculum in a better way.”

“Initially I was quite anxious to join the new school environment, but my transition at EIS has been nothing but easy and enjoyable. Thanks to the teachers who are always ready to help and support us, even outside the classroom! They make the IBDP journey less stressful. My EIS classmates and the students were very welcoming and approachable. They provide reinforcement and help whenever required. I have been able to form a strong bond and connection with not only the students but also the teachers due to the encouraging environment of the school.

As a part of the IBDP, I am very grateful for the abundant opportunities offered by the school; in terms of extracurricular activities, university counselling and opportunities to practice skills that we are passionate about. Overall, the EIS community has thoroughly stimulated my growth as a student.

“My experience at EIS has been so much better than I could’ve ever imagined. The environment is very nurturing and supportive which is one of the reasons why I like going to school. The teachers are very reasonable and always available if I ever need to ask doubts or questions or even if I’m just feeling overwhelmed and stressed about schoolwork. I am so beyond grateful to have such approachable, patient, understanding and helpful teachers. There is a perfect balance of academics as well as extracurricular activities. What I like about the work is that it’s very fun to do and the teachers always try to teach in different ways and methods to make studying more fun. I have made some of the best memories and friends here so far. Overall I love going to school and love everything about it. Lastly, I’m very thankful for my homeroom teacher, Miss Shreya (who also just so happens to be my favourite teacher) as she made settling in so easy for me and is always so full of energy. She is cheerful no matter how tired she is or how hard of a day she’s having. I will always remember my first day of school when she introduced herself to me and greeted me with a wide smile on her face so ready to happily teach all of us. I love school a lot and I am so thankful to all the teachers that teach me and for making me have such a great school experience so far.”

My journey has been amazing at EIS- there are new study styles and different teaching methods so I’m trying to understand it all and get used to it! My classmates and teachers are also great.”-Dheer Kanungo, MYP2
