School Environment

School Environment

Since our inception, in 2013, we have provided learner-centered programmes in a safe and nurturing environment. Our Main Building is a heritage structure, with arched windows and doorways and an attractive wooden staircase. Classrooms are bright and spacious to promote inquiry-based learning. We have large classrooms, well-resourced libraries and ‘maker spaces’ for visual and performing arts, and a colourful cafeteria providing healthy food for the whole school. There are two multipurpose sports courts, a playground with safe flooring and play equipment, and a parking area for the school buses.

Our dedicated and experienced teachers nurture ‘Happy Humans’ within a culture of care. To this end, we administer Pupil Attitudes to Self and School (PASS), which is a self-evaluation survey that gives us insights into any attitudes that could be hindering achievement. It captures how students feel about their school and teachers, thus indicating possible barriers to learning, such as issues around confidence, resilience, motivation, concentration, disaffection and alienation.

We believe that holistic development is paramount to varied success, and so we offer a broad range of learning opportunities beyond the classroom including camps, field trips, service, after-school activities, intra- and inter-school sports, student council and clubs. And, we develop ‘Inspirational Leaders’ and ‘Global Advocates’, future-ready citizens who value their cultures, celebrate diverse traditions, respect the dignity of every kind of person, embrace our ‘common humanity’ and pursue a better world for all.

Happy learning, from
