The Magic Yet!
“Yet” helped us identify that something is achievable!
The grade 2 team has engaged in growth mindset sessions to learn a success secret to achieve any goals we may want to. To uncover the magic that we all already have in us, we read aloud the book “The Magical Yet” which demonstrates how this one word “YET” can help change our mindset to allow possibilities. To demonstrate being reflective, we engaged in the thinking routine “Parts, Purposes and Complexities” to think about how this growth mindset strategy actually works and how it can help us. This engagement helps us to break down the process to understand it better.
